How to modify the signatories of a document

Remove, add or change the signatories of minutes or a resolution extract before sealing.

Only account owners can modify signing permissions.

The signatories of a document from a given group are determined by the permissions configured for that group. To change who signs minutes or a resolution extract, you must adjust these permissions directly on the group before the document is sealed.

Modify signatories

  1. Go to "Organization" > "Groups".
  2. Click on the group for which you want to modify the signatories.
  3. Find the member whose signatory role you want to change, then click the pencil icon to the right.
  4. Check or uncheck the "Minutes signature" or "Resolution signature" permission depending on the document.
  5. Save.

You can now seal your document or generate your resolution extract. Only members with an active signing permission will receive a signature request.

Note: if this change is a one-time exception, remember to restore the original permissions once the document is sealed or the extract has been sent.
