How to modify the signatories of a document
Remove, add or change the signatories of minutes or a resolution extract before sealing.
Only account owners can modify signing permissions.
The signatories of a document from a given group are determined by the permissions configured for that group. To change who signs minutes or a resolution extract, you must adjust these permissions directly on the group before the document is sealed.
Modify signatories
- Go to "Organization" > "Groups".
- Click on the group for which you want to modify the signatories.
- Find the member whose signatory role you want to change, then click the pencil icon to the right.
- Check or uncheck the "Minutes signature" or "Resolution signature" permission depending on the document.
- Save.
You can now seal your document or generate your resolution extract. Only members with an active signing permission will receive a signature request.
Note: if this change is a one-time exception, remember to restore the original permissions once the document is sealed or the extract has been sent.
