How to connect MinutesIQ to your meetings
Check your configuration before your first meeting to avoid interruptions.
Available connection modes
- Live (participant): available for Google Meet and Microsoft Teams. MinutesIQ joins the meeting as a participant.
- Via recording: available for all platforms. You record your meeting, then upload the file directly in Panorama after the meeting.
Note: if your organization uses a video conferencing platform other than Meet or Teams (Zoom, Webex, etc.), recording upload is the only available mode at this time.
Check your configuration before your trial
We recommend verifying in advance that your organization does not apply restrictions that would prevent MinutesIQ from joining your meetings.
This is particularly important if your organization uses Microsoft Teams, where certain external access settings may block participants from outside domains.
If that is the case, here is how to fix the configuration before your first trial.
Resolving an access issue in Microsoft Teams
If MinutesIQ is unable to join your Teams meetings, the most common cause is that your organization does not allow external participants from the MinutesIQ domain.
Adding MinutesIQ to the list of allowed domains
This change requires administrator access to your Microsoft Teams admin portal.
- Sign in to the Teams admin portal: https://admin.teams.microsoft.com/company-wide-settings/external-communications
- Go to "Users" > "External access".
- For the setting "Teams and Skype for Business users in external organizations", select "Allow only specific external domains".
- Add the domain
minutesiq.onmicrosoft.com. - Save your changes.
Changes take effect within a few minutes.
Note: if you do not have access to Teams admin settings, this change must be made by your IT administrator or Microsoft 365 admin.
If the configuration is not possible
If your organization cannot modify the external access settings, you can use MinutesIQ via recording: record your Teams meeting, then upload the file in Panorama after the meeting.
