How to adopt a resolution
Record your decisions during or between meetings as needed
There are several ways to adopt a resolution and add it to your Panorama registry depending on the context:
- A decision planned on the agenda,
- An unplanned decision made during a meeting,
- An urgent resolution between two meetings.
A decision planned on the agenda
You can add draft resolutions to any topic on your agenda, except smart decision topics (agenda adoption, past minutes adoption, adjournment of the meeting).
Click "Add draft resolution" to prepare the text ahead of adoption.
Define a title and text, or start from a previous resolution. A full-screen mode is available for longer texts.
The resolution will automatically be added to the registry once the minutes are adopted by the board. You can also obtain the resolution extract before the minutes are adopted if needed.
Adoption during note-taking
During note-taking, resolutions display the "Adopt unanimously" and "More options" buttons. The latter allows you to record the mover, the seconder and the vote result. Learn more about note-taking →
What can be edited during the minutes review
When reviewing the minutes, you can edit the title and text of the resolution, the mover, the seconder and the vote result. Panorama automatically generates resolution extracts. Learn more about reviewing minutes →
An unplanned decision made during a meeting
During note-taking
If an unplanned decision is made during a meeting, click "Add resolution" at the bottom of the note-taking area for the relevant topic. This button will not be available on smart decision topics (agenda adoption, past minutes adoption, adjournment of the meeting).
Enter a title (required), add the text (optional) and record the result (required). The content can be edited during the minutes review. The resolution will automatically be added to the registry once the minutes are adopted.
During the minutes review
It is also possible to add an unplanned resolution during the minutes review. Click the edit pencil icon on the relevant topic, then click "Add resolution".
An urgent resolution between two meetings (written resolution)
You can create a written resolution using the "Create" button in the top left corner of the screen, if you have the necessary permissions. Learn more about written resolutions →
